"Believe in good things to come" J. R. H.

Went on missionary splits a couple of times. Had FHE with a young family and we sure got a kick out of singing "cabeza, hombros, rodillas, y pies" (head, shoulders, knees, and toes) as fast as we could go with their little kids.

"Sometimes good things fall apart so better things come together."   AL CARRAWAY

I don't know all the reasons to why bad things happen, but it's cool to see how people of all ethnicities/beliefs will help even those they haven't met who are in danger of natural disasters, emergencies, poverty. In Luke Chapter 12 it says,

"22 ¶ And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31 ¶ But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Everything doesn't just happen for a reason because we want to make sense of things or because we've heard others say that or in order to comfort ourselves. Everything does happen for a reason and everything will be okay because God is real, and so are those feelings you've had that told you so. God is real. I think that because we forgot our preexistence, we are really good at worrying. We should never have to be stressed or devastated when it comes to defeat, mistakes, death. There's really no way we won't be alright when Christ is in every little thing. If we at least have the desire to trust and follow God's plan, we will be happy about now, yesterday, and forever. After all, happiness is the plan.

Love, Hermana Jerman
